’Kashmir and Palestine Rights Day’ to be observed today on Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s appeal

On the appeal of Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, “Kashmir and Palestine Rights Day” will be observed on August 5. Rallies, gatherings, and programs will be held across the country, including in cities, educational institutions, and various locations in Sindh, such as Karachi and Kashmore.

Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh leaders, intellectuals, scholars, and teachers will address these events, expressing solidarity with the citizens of Kashmir and Palestine. Speakers will emphasize the unity of the Muslim world and expose the alleged alliance between India and Israel.

A representative explained that Kashmiris have long struggled for freedom from Indian rule, and lasting peace in the region depends on Kashmir’s autonomy. On August 5, 2019, India revoked Articles 370 and 35A of its constitution, increasing oppression and turning the valley into an open prison. The United Nations and the international community remain silent spectators.

India, Israel, and the United States allegedly form a detrimental alliance targeting Muslims. Israel has reportedly killed over 70,000 Palestinians and is carrying out genocide in Gaza using deprivation as a weapon. The statement warns that if the leaders of 57 Muslim countries do not take steps to support the Muslims of Gaza and Kashmir, history and the Muslim community will hold them accountable.
