Kartarpur: An elderly woman, who separated from her family during 1947 partition, reunited with her three brothers at Darbar Sahib Kartarpur after 75 years, according to a report on Tuesday.

Mumtaz Bibi belongs to Warika Tian village in Pakistan, whereas, her brothers are from Sadrana village in Patiala district of India. She is the only sister of her three brothers, and all of them reunited on Tuesday at Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.

During the 1947 partition, she had separated from her brothers and remained in Pakistan. At that time, Mumtaz Bibi was very young, and she was adopted by a Pakistani Muslim family. The siblings hugged each other and recalled the memories of their childhood. People became emotional while seeing the reunion of the siblings who were meeting after 75 years since partition. The administration at Darbar Sahib Kartarpur offered them meal and gifts.
