JUI-N urges PM Shahbaz to provide relief to poverty-stricken people

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Nazriyati Pakistan on Monday urged Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to provide relief to the poverty stricken people of the country and devise viable economic policies in the best interest of the country and nation.

It was stated by Central Naib Ameer, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Nazriyati, Moulana Abdul Qadir Luni, central General Secretary, Moulana Ahmed Ali Sani, central Deputy General, Mufti Shafi-ud-Din, central Naib Ameer, Moulana Abdul Rauf, central joint secretary, Najeem Khan Advocate, central Secretary Information, Syed Haji Abdul Sattar Shah Chisti in a joint statement.

They said that owing to the flawed policies of the previous governments, inflation had soared, adding that poverty and economic depression existed in the country, leaving integrity and sovereignty of the country at stake. They said with the exception of tall claims of the rulers regarding development and economic stability, rulers had given nothing to the nation, adding that owing to corruption, national economy of the country was on ventilator.

They said that the storm of inflation and unemployment could not be stemmed, adding people of the country were being compelled to commit suicide and sell their children. They said that time for the rulers had arrived to live upto the expectations of the people and provide job opportunities to the unemployed youth of the country.
