QUETTA: JUI-F on Friday demanded of the authorities to take notice of turning the victory of its candidate from PB-39 into defeat; otherwise, a protest movement would be started soon.

It was warned by Abdul Wahid Agha, JUI-F candidate from PB-39-Quetta while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with other leaders of JUI-F.

Announcing the victory of an independent candidate from PB-39-Quetta, who stood third in the contest, was the worst blunder of the history. He said, “I provided Form-45 of all the polling stations of the constituency to Returning Officer and Deputy Returning Officer”. He added that Returning Officer accordingly issued letter, stating that result of PB-39-Quetta constituency would be announced on February 11.

He said that protest sit-ins were being observed on different highways of the province against rigging in the election.
