ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam- Fazal (JUI-F) lawmaker Zahid Akram Durrani has submitted his nomination papers for the election to the office of Deputy Speaker National Assembly.

Zahid Akram Durrani is the son of JUI-F leader and former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akram Khan Durrani. No other candidate filed the nomination papers to contest the election of Deputy Speaker. Election to the office of the Deputy Speaker will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) here at the Parliament House in Islamabad. Zahid Akram Durrani had won the NA-35 Bannu seat in 2018 general election.
