The leader of Jamaat-i-Islami Karachi, Monem Zafar, announced a march on Shahrah-e-Faisal on April 13 to protest against Israeli aggression and to express solidarity with the people of Gaza.
During the meeting with the head of Darul Uloom Naeemia, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Zafar stated that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has intensified, with reports from the Health Department indicating that 50,000 people have been martyred, and the ceasefire agreement has been violated by Israel.
He further added that despite U.S. support, oppression against the oppressed people of Gaza continues, while human rights organizations remain silent. He criticized the OIC and the Arab League for being limited to passing resolutions.
JI Karachi emir emphasized that it is Pakistan’s duty to unify the leaders of Muslim countries and respond to Israel. Citizens of Karachi will be welcomed on Shahrah-e-Faisal at 4 PM on April 13 to express solidarity with their oppressed brothers in Gaza, he stated.
He appealed to people from all walks of life to participate in the march. Protests were held in front of the American Consulate on the 21st and 22nd of Ramadan, and this time Shahrah-e-Faisal has been chosen for a large-scale march.
On this occasion, Mufti Muneeb expressed his support for Monem Zafar’s statement, advocating that Muslim countries should withdraw from the United Nations and other Western-led human rights organizations.
