Jamaat-e-Islami district Quetta on Sunday staged a protest demonstration within the premises of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to detail, a protest demonstration under the auspices of JI, district Quetta was held in Quetta Metropolitan Corporation to mark black day. Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that on October 27, 1947, Indian forces illegally occupied Kashmir, adding that the whole Pakistani nation had been observing the said day as black day to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They said that revoking the special status of Kashmir in 2019 by Modi led Indian government was the violation of resolutions passsed by the security council of United Nations. They said that whole nation was standing shoulder to shoulder with Kashmiri brethren for their struggle for self determination.

Protest demonstration was addressed by Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, MPA Moulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, former provincial Ameer, Moulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, former Ameer, JI, district Quetta, Hafiz Nur Ali, Ameer, JI district Quetta, Naeem Rind, Zahid Akhtar Baloch and others.
