Jamaat-e-Islami district Quetta on Friday staged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club against high taxes and exorbitant electricity tariff.

On the call of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, JI district Quetta arranged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club against high taxes and exorbitant electricity tariff.

The protesters were carrying placards and banners and were chanting slogans against the government for being careless in view of the public miseries due to inflation.

Ameer, JI district Quetta, Hafiz Nur Ali, and others demanded immediate reduction in the rising prices of power rates and a huge burden of taxes to provide relief to the people who had been deprived of their fundamental rights of passing life.
