Islamabad:Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has called on German companies to consider investment opportunities available in Pakistan during a meeting with German Ambassador Ina Lepel.

According to Radio Pakistan, the minister expressed appreciation for Germany's ongoing economic collaboration with Pakistan and its supportive role concerning the European Union's GSP Plus scheme.

During the discussion, Ambassador Lepel recognized Pakistan's legislative progress and positive developments in areas pertinent to GSP Plus. She noted that these efforts demonstrate Pakistan's commitment to reforms and strengthening institutional mechanisms.

Additionally, the ambassador stressed the need for legislative measures to be effectively implemented to achieve measurable results and tangible improvements for citizens. Both parties explored avenues to enhance bilateral trade, investment, and business-to-business cooperation.
