Islamabad: The Islamabad Police has made foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali, to be observed across the country tomorrow.
According to Radio Pakistan, Spokesperson of the Islamabad Police, DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that more than three thousand officers and personnel of the Islamabad Police will perform security duties at various localities in the city. The Traffic Police has also made special arrangements to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the occasion.
The DIG Islamabad Police highlighted that elaborate security measures have been established for the security of Imambargahs and Majalis. All roads and streets leading to Imambargahs have been sealed, and snipers have been deployed at the rooftops along the procession routes.
The Spokesperson added that special checking would be conducted on all entry and exit routes of the city, emphasizing that the security and safety of the citizens is the foremost priority of the police.
