Islamabad Police Crackdown Nabs 16 Criminals in 24 Hours

Islamabad Police have apprehended 16 criminals within the past 24 hours.

The crackdown led to the capture of 10 individuals in various locations linked to drug peddling and illegal weapons possession. Police teams successfully seized 2,672 grams of heroin, 12 wine bottles, and 10 pistols with ammunition.

Furthermore, a targeted campaign focused on apprehending proclaimed offenders and absconders resulted in the arrest of six additional criminals. Legal proceedings have commenced against the detained individuals, and investigations are actively progressing.

Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, emphasized the ongoing efforts of the Islamabad Police to combat crime, ensuring peace in the federal capital. The force remains dedicated to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens, vowing to eliminate any threats to public order.
