Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq conducted a public forum at his office to tackle resident complaints and issued prompt orders for their resolution.
During the proceedings, DIG Tariq highlighted the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” as an additional avenue for citizens to lodge grievances. He noted that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed senior law enforcement officials to arrange similar open courts throughout the district.
Following these instructions, zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are holding public forums in their designated areas to guarantee citizen issues are heard and addressed.
He further stated that the Islamabad Capital Police are committed to community engagement and effective problem-solving.
Tariq encouraged all Islamabad residents to voice their concerns at these gatherings, emphasizing that addressing public grievances is the department”s top priority.
