Islamabad court reserves verdict in assets beyond means case against Ishaq Dar

RAWALPINDI: An accountability court in Islamabad Tuesday reserved the judgement in the assets beyond means case against former finance minister Ishaq Dar.

The court reserved the judgement after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor and Ishaq Dar’s lawyer Qazi Misbah completed their arguments. Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir will pronounce the reserved judgement on October 21.

Earlier, the accountability court had admitted an assets beyond means reference against Ishaq Dar. In light of the Supreme Court’s decision, the reference against Ishaq Dar was heard again.
