International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace is being observed on Sunday.

The aim of observing this day to acknowledge the use of multilateral decision-making and diplomacy in achieving peaceful resolutions to conflicts among nations.

In his message on the occasion, the United Nations’ Secretary-General António Guterres has called on all governments and leaders to renew their commitment to dialogue and global solutions that are the only sustainable path for peace.
