The second international conference on Plant Protection Sciences will commence tomorrow, Wednesday, at Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, where national and international experts will present their research papers. The aim of the conference is to discuss modern and sustainable methods for crop protection.
The conference is being organized by the Faculty of Crop Protection with support from the Sindh Higher Education Commission. The primary objective of this event is to promote cooperation in the fields of science and technology between Pakistan and developed countries.
The inaugural session of the program will be chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University, Professor Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal. Renowned keynote speakers from China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Pakistan will address the conference, including prominent figures.
Experts will present their research papers on topics such as crop diseases, pest control, environmental protection, and weed management. The technical sessions of the conference will also discuss the impacts of climate change and other modern topics.
