Minister for interior Rana Sanaullah has said that fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are historical, trust based and long-standing.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki who called on him in Islamabad on Monday.

The Interior minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would jointly face all internal and regional security challenges.

He while expressing his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for the successful organization of Road-to-Makkah project to facilitate Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, said Saudi Arabia always helped Pakistan in odd hour. He said relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are based on brotherly, long-standing and historical roots.

He congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Saudi government for making excellent arrangements for Hajj 2022. He said Pakistani nation has special love and reverence to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He also thanked the Saudi government and embassy for facilitating Pakistani Hujjaj and making special arrangements for them.

The minister thanked the ambassador for the timely assistance of the flood victims by Saudi Arabia.

On the occasion, the Saudi Arabia’s ambassador said cultural events are being organized in connection with the National Day of Saudi Arabia.He said in order to bring Pakistan and the Saudi people closer, various events are being organized.

He said we are very happy on the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
