On the occasion of International Youth Day on Monday, the Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the national hero Arshad Nadeem and entire youth of the country.
In a statement, he said Javelin throw Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem has proved by winning the gold medal that Pakistani youth are hardworking and talented.
He highlighted that Arshad Nadeem’s extraordinary performance in the Paris Olympics has given new enthusiasm and passion to the youth.
He said youth is Pakistan’s greatest asset and have the full potential to change country’s destiny. The Interior Minister said Pakistani youth have brought laurel for the country in every field with their God-gifted talents.
He pointed out that youth is Pakistan’s bright future, investing in youth is investing in a prosperous and rising Pakistan. He said the more we empower youth today, the more beautiful our tomorrow will be.
The Interior Minister said that we need to create a conducive environment where youth can contribute to the national development with their creative talents.
He emphasized that a large portion of Pakistan’s population consists of youth and the private sector along with the government needs to come forward to nurture their talents.
On International Youth Day, the Interior Minister reiterated his commitment to take more effective measures to empower youth.
