Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi visited Peshawar on Friday and met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur at the Chief Minister’s Office.
The Chief Minister welcomed the Interior Minister. During their meeting, law and order situation in KP and measures to establish peace in Kurram were discussed.
The Interior Minister assured the Chief Minister of his full support for establishing peace in the region. He emphasized that enhancing the capacity of law enforcement agencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is crucial.
He stated that establishing peace in Kurram is a top priority. He stressed the need for collective efforts to establish sustainable peace in Kurram through consultations with all stakeholders.
The Interior Minister and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister paid tribute to the martyrs of law enforcement agencies who have sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism.
Both leaders acknowledged that the sacrifices of the martyrs are unforgettable and pledged to collectively combat the menace of terrorism.
