Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, Lieutenant General (Retd) Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo, met with Punjab Police Inspector General, Dr. Usman Anwar, at the Central Police Office to discuss strengthening security cooperation and training.

The Ambassador and his team were given a comprehensive briefing on Punjab Police’s technology-based and artificial intelligence-driven advancements. These initiatives include the Counter Terrorism Department, Crime Control Department, Safe Cities project, and various citizen-centric programs. The Indonesian delegation lauded the force’s counter-terrorism efforts.

The dignitaries toured key departments within the CPO, including memorials and the Police Museum. They also witnessed firsthand the police force’s commitment to public safety.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between the IG Punjab and the Ambassador. Dr. Anwar acknowledged Indonesia’s development and influence within the Islamic world and the wider region. Discussions focused on ways to further enhance bilateral security cooperation and training between the Indonesian and Punjab Police forces.
