Indian troops have launched a large-scale search operation in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Wednesday, the operation was launched in Kehrot village of Thannamandi area of the district. Indian officials said that the operation was initiated after a firing incident was reported in Kehrot village this evening.

‘Ten to twelve gunshots were heard. Soon after, a massive search operation was launched by forces in the area,’ the officials added. Details are still emerging as the operation continues.
