Indian troops have escalated their violent cordon and search operations in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Thursday, a pre-dawn operation was launched by Indian troops in the Lathi-Dardiya-Khawas area in Rajouri district. Indian officials said that the operation was launched following reports of suspicious movement, which led to an intense exchange of fire. The firing is going on, the officials added.

Simultaneously, Indian troops have initiated another aggressive cordon and search operation in Dachin top-Sindhra area of Poonch district.
