Indian forces’ personnel have ramped up extensive search operations across various regions of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Saturday, troops have deployed drones and helicopters in a massive operation in the Bota Pathri area of Gulmarg, Baramulla. This operation was initiated following an attack on Thursday night that resulted in the deaths of two Indian soldiers and injuries to at least three others.
In Ganderbal district, Indian troops have continued search operations and raids for the seventh consecutive day. This follows a recent attack on a tunnel construction site along the Srinagar-Leh highway in the Sonamarg area, which claimed the lives of a Kashmiri doctor and five Indian construction workers.
A significant search operation has also been launched in the Reasi forests after reports of suspicious movement in the area. Armed with advanced surveillance equipment, forces are conducting thorough searches in the dense forest, accompanied by a dog squad.
Additionally, a similar operation by the Indian paramilitary BSF and police is currently underway in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district.
So far, dozens of individuals have been detained during these operations. Witnesses report that the troops are intimidating residents, contributing to an already fearful atmosphere in the occupied territory.
