Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, has reported that former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi are facing strict restrictions in custody. Amid rising temperatures, Khan has been confined to a small room, which reflects the harsh conditions of his imprisonment. Despite these circumstances, he continues to express his concerns for the welfare of the country.

Cheema highlighted Khan’s experience of isolation, particularly emphasizing the ban on family visits during significant occasions like Eid. This restriction also applies to his children and his wife, Bushra Bibi, which Cheema described as part of a broader attempt by the authorities to break Khan’s spirit. She argued that such measures are acts of persecution, only intensifying dissatisfaction against the current government.
