An important meeting on the cotton crop was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain. The meeting discussed cotton production and the proposed targets for the fiscal year 2025-26.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister emphasized the importance of using modern agricultural technology and better seeds to achieve the cotton targets. He stated that implementing an effective system to increase cotton production is a top priority.
The Federal Minister further said that the current government is committed to increasing cotton production and the welfare of farmers. For this purpose, the Ministry of National Food Security and Research is fully active.
