IIOJK Congress slams BJP regime for snatching Kashmiris’ rights

JAMMU: The Congress chapter in occupied Jammu and Kashmir has lashed out at the BJP led Indian government for snatching rights of the people in the territory.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report, the IIOJK Congress working president Raman Bhalla addressing various public meetings in Sunderbani area of Rajouri said that the BJP regime has betrayed people by snatching their rights and Statehood.

He said New Delhi deprived people of livelihood, snatching the lands of farmers, taking away rights of land and jobs and trade of locals in the territory. He added that price rise is at peak and unemployment has crossed all records.

He said that the Modi regime insulted the J and K people by downgrading historical State and depriving them of Assembly elections for more than five years to run the territory through bureaucrats.

Bhalla pointed out that the Indian government was delaying Assembly elections in IIOJK for fear of losing them. He asserted that statehood was their right and they will get it back. KMS—2S
