A traffic accident resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others on Tuesday near Mithiani.

The incident occurred on the Dili Pota link road within the jurisdiction of Mithiani police station, where a highspeed car collided with a tree after its brakes failed.

Dili Pota’s famous craftsman, Singhar Ali Solangi, who was in the car, died on the spot. As a result of the accident, Rafiq Ahmed Solangi and Faqir Muhammad Qasim Solangi were seriously injured and have been transferred to Hyderabad for treatment after receiving initial medical aid.

The police have completed the necessary formalities and handed over the deceased’s body to the family. Further investigations are underway to determine the causes of the accident.
