Hand grenade hurled at house near Quetta mosque

QUETTA: A hand grenade was hurled at a house near Allah Wala Masjid inside Qambrani Road area of Quetta on Wednesday, however, no loss of life was reported.

According to police, unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at a house near Allah Wala Masjid at Qambrani Road area of the provincial capital, however, no loss has been reported. Further investigation was being conducted by the concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Kohlu has terminated the services of Levies Daffedar Muhammad Sharif posted at Levies Thana Lassezai owing to gross misconduct and involvement in theft incident. An order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kohlu says, “In exercise of powers conferred under Rule- 4(1)(b)(iii) of Balochistan Levies Force Disciplinary Rules 2015, the Deputy Commissioner Kohlu is pleased to “terminate the services” of Levies Daffedar Muhammad Sharif posted at Levies Thana Lassezai owing to gross misconduct and involvement in theft incident, with immediate effect till further orders.”
