Unidentified gunmen attacked a marble company camp in the mountainous Mula Shahu area in Duki district, local authorities reported today.

Security at the camp returned fire, with no casualties reported. An investigation by the Levies Force is underway. Tension gripped the area.

The local people said that crimes in the area had risen as the authorities seemed to be unable to control the crimes. They appealed to the Prime Minister and President to take effective steps to rid them of crimes so as to take a sigh of relief.
