ISLAMABAD: Foreign Secretary Dr. Asad Majeed Khan has said the government is working with partner countries to ensure the safety and security of Pakistanis in Sudan, including the option of evacuation.

He said this while chairing an online coordination meeting with Pakistan’s Missions in Khartoum and surrounding countries on the situation in Sudan.

Besides, the Foreign Secretary also met Sudanese Ambassador Salih Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Siddig and conveyed Pakistan’s concern about the deteriorating situation in Sudan.

He hoped the Sudanese authorities would take all measures to ensure the safety and security of Pakistanis in Sudan.
