ISLAMABAD:Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said Sunday that the police reached the Zaman Park to arrest PTI Chief Imran Khan in compliance with court orders, stressing that we should comply with court decisions.

He expressed these views while talking to media today. He claimed that arresting Imran Khan is not an uphill task and government will arrest him whenever it wants, making it clear that the PTI workers cannot be an obstacle.

The interior minister said that the PTI chairman could have been arrested on May 25. He was of the view that the election should not be held in the country while giving in to the obstinacy of Imran Khan, rather fair and transparent elections should be held.

“We do not want such an election that will spread anarchy in the country,” he told the media. Sanaullah also dismissed Imran Khan’s assassination plot story by calling it an “utter lie.” He said that the PTI chief has tendency to fabricate stories about his assassination.
