QUETTA: Commissioner Quetta Division, Suhail-ur-Rehman Baloch, said on Tuesday that in order to provide recreation to the citizens of Quetta, the arrangement of food festival in Quetta city would be indispensible.
These views were expressed by him while presiding over a meeting held here in connection with arranging a “Food Festival” in Quetta. He said that hotels, restaurants, food points and food brands would take part in the subject food festival to be held in Quetta to provide recreation to the citizens of Quetta, apart from arranging special arrangements for families in the food festival.
He said that all measures would be adopted to provide facilities to the citizens in the food festival. He said in order to provide recreation to the citizens of Quetta, the arrangement of food festival in Quetta city was indispensible. Meeting decided to arrange one-day-food-festival on February 4, 2023 (Saturday) at Railway Station, Quetta wherein stall of different variety of food stalls would be set up.
In order to supervise the arrangements of food festival, a committee under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Quetta, Khalil Murad was constituted besides issuing directives to the concerned authorities for making foolproof security arrangements for the food festival. Meeting was attended, inter alia, by Deputy Commissioner, Quetta Shahek Baloch.
