Govt revises Superior Judicial Allowance of CJP, Judges of Supreme Court

The government has revised, with effect from July 1, 2024, the Superior Judicial Allowance of the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) and Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

It has been revised in compliance with the ‘Presidential Order No. 2 of 2024 and in light of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad’s letter No. F.6/Misc/Pension/2018-SCP dated 13-11-2024’.

Based on this revision, the pension of the retired Chief Justices and Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has also been revised with an increase in their monthly pension.

According to an official statement issued here on Tuesday, the office of Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR), Islamabad has revised the pension of all 84 number pensioners including 12 former Chief Justices, 38 former Judges, 24 widows, 09 daughters, and 01 son of the (Late) former Chief Justices/Judges from the month of November, 2024 onwards.
