ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif distributed awards among exporters and industrialists at a ceremony organized by Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Karachi on Wednesday.

The awards were decorated to those exporters and businessmen who rendered unprecedented services and made achievement. Addressing on this occasion, the Prime Minister said government is making efforts to resolve all issues faced by the business community and industry through consultation with all stakeholders. He said industrialists and traders are backbone of our economy and Karachi is the gate to development of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan is blessed with countless resources and we have to harness these opportunities for development and growth. He invited the exporters to sit with government and make a comprehensive plan to address all issues and take the country move forward. Shehbaz Sharif said the time has come to chart our policies in right direction and wellcome new investments in diverse sectors.

He lauded the economic team of government for efforts to sign deal with Azerbaijan for import of LNG. The Prime Minister said basic issues of Karachi including water and restoration of infrastructure will also resolved.
