The government has launched the second auction phase for nonoperational and outdated power plants, with 29 facilities available for bidding.
A Ministry of Energy spokesperson revealed that these plants, located in areas including Jamshoro, Guddu, Muzaffargarh, Quetta, and Faisalabad, possess a total generation capacity of 4,074 megawatts. The reserve price for these units is set at 40,661 million rupees.
