Minister of Planning and development Ahsan Iqbal says the government is committed to revive economy through prudent policies.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Saturday, he said having economic stability in the country, the government will decide about general elections at appropriate time.

The Minister said the country is facing the worst inflation due to poor policies of the previous government.

He said the incumbent government put its politics on stake to save the country from economic crisis.

Ahsan Iqbal said Election Commission should announce its verdict in foreign funding case of PTI.

The Planning Minister said the rupee will appreciate and stable against dollar after receiving the tranche from the International Monetary Fund.

He expressed hope that country’s economy would be come out from the difficult stage within the next five to sixth months.
