ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar says the government is taking concrete steps to strengthen economy and positive results are now being witnessed in different sectors.

Talking to media persons in Lahore today, he expressed the government’s commitment to resolve issues being faced by the country.

He said positive developments regarding Pakistan’s economy are also being acknowledged in the international media.

The Information Minister mentioned that Bloomberg has recently made a prediction regarding the reduction of inflation in Pakistan.

He said that confidence among investors has increased according to the Gallup survey, leading to positive progress in local investment.

He said that inflation is expected to decrease and the growth rate will increase in the country.

Attaullah Tarar said that international organizations and journals are giving positive news regarding the government of Shehbaz Sharif and confidence now has restored among business people.

He said that some elements do not like to see development in Pakistan and these anti-state elements are conspiring to fail CPEC projects.
