A tree plantation event was held at the premises of the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives here in Islamabad on Friday.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal graced the occasion as Chief Guest and planted a sapling, symbolizing the government’s proactive efforts in addressing climate challenges under the ‘Upscaling of Green Pakistan Programme’ initiative.

Speaking at the event, Ahsan Iqbal said our goal is to make Pakistan greener and to ensure a sustainable and healthy environment for future generations.

It is pertinent to mention that the Upscaling of Green Pakistan Programme aims to enhance forest cover and promote reforestation across Pakistan, contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
