According to Radio Pakistan, Danyal Chaudhary, while addressing a news conference in Islamabad, emphasized that there was no use of force or weapons against the protestors. He countered the claims made by PTI, noting that there were no fatalities due to government actions. Chaudhary highlighted the government’s commitment to patience and restraint in the face of potential unrest, aiming to prevent any political exploitation of casualties.
He further elaborated that nine hundred protestors were detained from various regions, including some most-wanted criminals and thirty-seven Afghan nationals who were allegedly brought in to incite disorder.
