Governor Tessori referenced the Zainab case and confirmed that he had sent a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, stating his intention not to remain silent on the issue.
The Iftar gathering included a lucky draw where multiple prizes were distributed. Journalist Imdad Soomro won an Umrah ticket, and on his request, the Governor extended sponsorship to Soomro’s wife as well.
