Islami Jamhoori Ittehad (Pakistan) Sindh President Murtaza Rahmani and Muhib Qaumi Samaji Council Chairman Aslam Farooqui and others, following the recent kidnapping and recovery of a relative of renowned religious scholar Maulana Abdul Majid, have declared the law and order situation in the country “alarming” and demanded immediate action from the government.

This demand was made on Saturday at Madrassa Taleem-ul-Quran in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where a delegation met with Pakistan Peace Council Sindh Provincial President Maulana Abdul Majid Farooqui.

The visiting leaders, , congratulated Maulana Farooqui on the recovery of his nephew, Qari Muhammad Rafiq. His release from the dacoits’ captivity was made possible through the efforts of the police, Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies.
