Gold prices in Pakistan climbed sharply today, with the value of a Tola of 24 Karat gold rising by Rs. 8,100 to reach Rs. 357,800. This increase mirrors trends in the international market, where the gold price saw an uptick of $69, bringing it to $3,395 per ounce.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 Karat gold increased by Rs. 6,944, now priced at Rs. 306,755. Meanwhile, the 22 Karat gold for 10 grams rose by Rs. 6,366, reaching Rs. 281,202.
Silver prices also experienced growth, with a Tola of 24 Karat silver now at Rs. 3,441, reflecting an increase of Rs. 24. Additionally, the international silver price rose by $0.22, now standing at $32.77 per ounce.
The association attributed these price movements to changes in international market dynamics, impacting local valuation trends.
