Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has called for close coordination among government institutions, local communities, wildlife professionals, hunters, and conservation organizations to promote wildlife conservation and responsible hunting. Addressing a ceremony of the Safari Club International Pakistan Chapter in Islamabad today, he emphasized the importance of collaboration in enhancing wildlife conservation efforts.

According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani highlighted that Pakistan can benefit from international experience while also sharing its own expertise in wildlife management. He noted that responsible and ethical hunting, when conducted lawfully and sustainably, can contribute to conservation and provide meaningful benefits for local communities.

The Acting President further called for transparent and practical policies that consider the views of all stakeholders involved in wildlife conservation. He expressed hope for stronger international cooperation and contributions to protect Pakistan's wildlife and natural heritage.
