SHIKARPUR: The Garhiyaseen police on Wednesday found the body of an elderly man from a roadside within its limits.

The police said that they received a report regarding the discovery of an unidentified elderly person’s body near the roadside, prompting immediate action.

Upon reaching the scene, Garhiyaseen police transported the deceased individual to Government Hospital Garhiyaseen for Medico Legal formalities and identification procedures. Subsequently, the body was transferred to RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur for further legal processes.

As of the time of reporting, the identity of the elderly deceased remainedunknown, and authorities have not determined the cause behind the incident.

Local law enforcement is actively investigating the case, with hopes that ongoing procedures will unveil crucial details surrounding the circumstances leading to the discovery of the deceased person.
