A delegation of aspiring senior police officers was given an in-depth look into the operational and logistical framework of the capital’s police force during a visit to the Police Lines Headquarters, as part of their ongoing professional training today.
The group, consisting of under-training Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from the 51st Common of the National Police Academy, was formally received by senior command from the Islamabad Police upon their arrival.
During the engagement, AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani and SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen conducted a comprehensive briefing for the visiting officers. The presentation provided the trainees with crucial insights into the force’s day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and various departmental matters.
Following the informational session, the delegation embarked on a detailed tour of the headquarters” key facilities to gain practical knowledge of its functions.
The extensive tour included inspections of various administrative offices, the quarter guard, the daily crime register (roznamcha), the armoury, and the miscellaneous store. The future police leaders were also shown the uniform warehouse and the firing range to provide a complete overview of the logistical and tactical infrastructure.
