Security forces have eliminated four alleged Indian-sponsored terrorists during a targeted intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kalat District of Balochistan, the military’s media affairs wing announced on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the raid was conducted on the night of November 1, following confirmed reports about the presence of militants affiliated with a proxy network known as Fitna al Hindustan.

During the engagement, troops effectively targeted the insurgents’ hideout, resulting in the neutralization of all four individuals. A cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession. The slain militants were reportedly involved in several subversive activities in the region.

The ISPR further stated that sanitization operations are currently underway to clear the surrounding area of any remaining threats.

This action is part of the renewed counterterrorism drive ‘Azm-e-Istehkam,’ which was recently approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

The military’s statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to eradicating the scourge of foreign-backed terrorism from the country with unwavering resolve.
