QUETTA: Mir Ziaullah Langove, Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs has said that our forces were alert to face any untoward situation after taking over the control of Spin Boldak by Taliban.
Talking to media here on Thursday, Langove said that additional forces had been dispatched to Chaman border. “Change in Afghanistan is the internal matter of Afghani people”, said Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, adding that it was hoped that Afghan soil would not be used afresh against Pakistan. He said that talks with annoyed Baloch was the problem of the entire country, adding that assigning the task of holding parleys with annoyed Baloch to Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Reconciliation and Harmony in Balochistan was a positive break though.
He said that recent monsoon rains had affected 6 districts of the province, adding that 13 crore had been released to the affected districts. He said that Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) was ready to cope up with any untoward situation, adding that distribution of relief items in the affected areas was in progress.
