KARACHI:Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has said that fool proof security would be provided for gatherings and processions during Muharram-ul-Haram. This he said while talking with a delegation of Jaferia Alliance led by Shabbar Raza at Governor House. Ex-MNA Rehan Hashmi was also present on the occasion. Security measures for Muharram processions, close coordination with local administration, desecration of Quran-e-Karim in Sweden, economic steps of Federal Government for strengthening of economy and other matters of mutual interests was discussed on the occasion.

Governor Sindh said that all facilities would be provided to mourners throughout the province. All District Administrations have been directed to coordinate with relevant persons in the regard, he added. Governor Sindh said that desecration of Holy Quran is unacceptable as this incident has hurt millions of Muslims around the world. “I have written the letter to Sweden ambassador in Islamabad and strongly condemned the incident”, he said

He said that all religious leaders have condemned this incident. This shows that all peace loving persons are against such kind of acts, Governor Sindh added He said that positive results have started to emerge of the economic policies of Federal Government. “We all must contribute towards this in our own capacity, he opined. Shabbar Raza thanked Governor Sindh for his assurance and said that the acts of Governor Sindh on the incident of Sweden reflect the sentiments of entire Muslim Ummah.
