ISLAMABAD:Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that there is immense potential to increase trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Iraq.
Addressing Pak Iraq Business Forum in Baghdad, the Foreign Minister said both the countries need to transform the fraternal relationship into a partnership, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report.
He assured that Pakistan will cooperate with ISLAMABAD:China has expressed determination to boost bilateral trade with Pakistan through land route.
According to a Radio Pakistan’s report, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin, while replying to media queries in Beijing said his country welcomes quality agricultural products from Pakistan to enter China’s market.
Last week, Pakistan’s first-ever seafood cargo container arrived in Kashgar city of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region through Karakoram Highway.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque said Pakistani and Chinese governments were making joint efforts to bring more Pakistani seafood and agriculture products through Karakoram Highway to the Chinese market.
Iraq in all fields especially with business communities to benefit from opportunities of trade and investment.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed between Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan and Iraq on this occasion. The MoU will facilitate linkages between business community of both the countries.
