KHAIRPUR NATHANSHAH: A flood-stricken youth starved to death in Khairpur Nathanshah, according to a report on Sunday.

According to a report, the youth was hungry and fell ill following which he was taken to a hospital adjacent to Sita Road, but the youth died. The victim family told media that the death of the youth was the result of gross negligence on the part of the government officials and their inefficiency to protect the flood-ravaged people.

Locals appealed to the government and local administration to take care of the flood-hit people and their needs and expedite relief activities and food supply in order to save people. It is to be mentioned here that the death toll hit 11 in different areas of Khairpur Nathanshah due to floods.
