A police officer was martyred in a firing incident targeting a polio team in Nushki. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the firing on the antipolio team.

The polio team was fired upon in the Killi Muhammad Hassani area of Nushki, resulting in the martyrdom of a police officer. According to the police, the body of the martyred officer has been moved to the hospital, and the search for the culprits is ongoing.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the firing on the antipolio team in Nushki and paid tribute to the martyred police officer. He stated that an attack on the team responsible for securing the future of children is intolerable, and those who attack the safe and healthy future of children will be dealt with with an iron hand. According to the police, other members of the antipolio team remained safe, and the body of the martyred police officer has been moved to the hospital.

The Balochistan government has condemned the attack on the antipolio team. The spokesperson for the Balochistan government, Shahid Rind, stated that the martyred police officer Waheed Ahmed was from Jamalabad, Nushki.
